Limited Opportunity to Feature Your Short Story

After you follow the steps in Write the Next Great Horse/Pony/Animal Story and write a story, you may share your work with the author.

Your short story may be featured on www.susancount.com for a minimum of two weeks. It may then be included in the Library of Short Stories.

This posting is completely free but posting is not guaranteed.

Your story should be between 1,000 and 2,500 words. Format the manuscript as a Word document. Standardized formatting: 1 inch margins, double-spaced, in Times New Roman or Garamond font.

• Writers must be in grades 6 -12.
• Stories must be written by only one writer.
• Embedded spell check in word processing programs is expected and acceptable. Also, dictation and read aloud features are permissible and encouraged.
• AI may be used ONLY for research. AI may not be used for any developmental aspects of story creation.

Your comments may be published as editorial reviews, used to improve future editions, and help other young writers.

Include in your email; the writers first name, age, grade, some fun fact about them. The writer may submit (not required) a 4×6 sized artwork depicting their story.
